Sharanya Arcot Desai is currently a Senior Research Scientist at NeuroPace, Mountain View, California. She received her PhD in Bioengineering in 2013 from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta under the guidance of Dr. Steve Potter and Dr. Robert Gross. Sharanya is a recipient of the International Schlumberger Faculty for the Future fellowship (2010-2013). As part of her PhD she did a co-op at Medtronic Neuromodulation, Minneapolis. Her research interests include Neuroscience, Data analysis, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. In her spare time, she loves to run, swim, and teach new tricks to her 10 month old daughter.
