PhD thesis on the anatomical features and connectivity of hippocampal interneurons under the supervision of Tamas Freund (Budapest).With samller interruption to visit among other Richard Miles’ laboratory works with his former supervisor, first as a neuroanatomist for 20 years studying the organization of inhibitory neuron networks in the hippocampus. Since 2006 works as an electrophysiologist studying the question: How do the numerous inhibitory neuron types and pyramidal cells interact to generate different network activity patterns?
